POWER RANKING RULES

THE NEW GRAND SLAM POWER RANKINGS

Earn points at each Grand Slam event you participate in and see how you stack up with other teams in your age division and class!  Here is a breakdown of how points are awarded:

1st Place Tournament Finish = 25-Points

2nd Place Tournament Finish = 15-Points

3rd Place Tournament Finish= 10-Points

4th Place Tournament Finish= 7-Points

5th Place Tournament Finish= 5-Points

6th Place Tournament Finish= 4-Points

7th Place Tournament Finish= 3-Points

8th Place Tournament Finish= 2-Points

9th Place and up Tournament Finish= 1-Point

BONUS POINTS

Look for certain events that will be designated as MVP EVENTS where DOUBLE points are awarded!

ANY WIN= 3-Points

WIN over a team in a HIGHER Classification= 5-Points

GO UNDEFEATED in a Tournament (Pool Play & Bracket Play)= 3-Points

GIVE UP 3-runs or less in a game (does not include a 7-0 forfiet win)= 3-Points

GET A SHUTOUT in a game(does not include a 7-0 forfiet win)= 5-Points
