Thursday Individual Player Showcase.....What to Expect - 

Each player will participate in an individual “pro style” workout consisting of several metrics and evaluations, including:

Pitcher Velocity and Spin Rate

Catcher Pop Times and Velocities

60 Yard Dash

Infield Evaluations and Velocity

Outfield Evaluations and Velocity

Hitting Evaluations and Exit Velocity

Full Social Media Coverage

College coaches and scouts will be on hand to evaluate, recruit, and help create scouting reports for each player.  All participants will receive a written evaluation and scouting report emailed to them a few days after the close of the event.  These reports will also be sent directly to every college in Alabama that has a baseball program. 

After we conclude the evaluations, at approximately 5:30pm, we will have a recruiting talk presented by college coaches and the Grand Slam scouting staff.  This will be open to all players who participate in the showcase as well as their families.  We will have an interactive Q & A at the end. 

Once you register for the showcase, someone from our staff will be in touch with you to gather some more information about you as a player, student, and person.  All of these things factor into the recruiting process and our goal is to help match athletes with colleges that may be a good fit for both their athletic and academic goals.
