  • Game times could be changed due to weather.
  • Each team is required to provide 2 game conditioned High School quality balls for pool play. We will provide for Bracket play. We do have balls on site for sell...$5/ball or $50/dozen
  • Gate fees are $7/daily for ages 12 & up. No two day passes. There will be a 3 day pass available for $18 for those who play Friday night. If you buy a 3 day pass and your team has a bracket game Saturday night and is eliminated, or if you play both your games Friday & don't play Saturday, the pass is non refundable. All gate fees are non refundable.
  • 13U can only use -5 or -3 bats.

  • 9UR time limit is 1:20 & there is a 6 run per inning limit for pool Play. Bracket play will also be an 1:20 but no 6 run per inning will be in play for bracket. During pool play...if you are the home team and time expires and you are down by more than 6 runs or if you are the visitors and batting...you still get your time to bat because even though you can't mathematically win, any runs you score could affect pool play. If you have an issue with this on the field call for a director immediately. Do NOT leave the field.
  • Coach Pitch time limit is 1:00
  • 9UA-12U Open is 1:30
  • 13U is 1:40

  • Protest fees are $300 cash up front no exceptions. You get this back for a successful protest. Protest must be done between the 1st pitch & last pitch and it is encouraged to do as early as possible if you think you will be protesting. Protest must be done during the game.
  • Run rules are 12 after 3 - 10 after 4 - 8 after 5
  • Extra innings - Last batter from the previous inning on 2nd base with 0 outs.
  • 2nd Extra inning - Last 3 batters from previous inning to load the bases with 1 out.
  • 3rd to 1st pick off is legal.
  • Head first slides are legal to any base unless a face mask is being worn.
  • Grand Slam plays be National Federation High School rules...with the exception of rules listed here or corporate Grand Slam. State Directors have the discretion to modify corporate rules.
  • Teams get 3 passes for coaches. Coach pitch teams get 4. Please discuss with your staff what names were submitted so there is no confusion at the gate. There will be a team list at each gate...once that team's spots are full that will be all. Coaches will receive arm bands and they must be worn for the weekend.
  • Make checks out to "The Tournament Team" and pay your field director no later than start of 2nd pool play game. 2nd Pool Play game will NOT start until entry fee is paid.
  • There is a director for every 4 fields. If you have an issue stop the game and call for a director. We can't help you after the game is over.
  • Be respectful to the gate girls.

Any pattern of badgering of an umpire, other fans, coaches, players, directors, gate workers, etc...will result in being escorted from the park by Flowod, Brandon or Ridgeland PD. Coaches, if you put your hands on an umpire, you will be prosecuted & vice versa for umpires to coaches. Tournament Directors have the discretion to have anyone removed from the park. Gate fees are nonrefundable.

It seems likely that weather could play an unwanted role in games scheduled this weekend. If that becomes the case, the following is a tentative plan.
We want to be very clear, we all know we can't predict weather or how much rain, etc...so this is only plan A. We will adjust as needed. We encourage everyone to be patient and stay flexible with us. Our main goal for this weekend is to weather (pardon the pun) the storm Friday night/Early Saturday morning and to get all games played.
This could mean a very late night Saturday...so be prepared.

1. For text alerts concerning weather updates...text superslam3 to 84483. Updates will also be sent through email to team admins, posted to the event home page, and posted here on our Facebook page.

2. Friday night games. We will monitor the most recent forecast all day tomorrow. We plan to play tomorrow night and get through it. However, if at 2:00 (or possibly earlier) tomorrow the forecast for game time is just nasty and obvious, we could possibly cancel tomorrow nights games.

3. If tomorrow night's games are canceled, the most likely scenario is that they will be moved to the back end of the schedule Saturday night. Again, that is what looks good on paper, it doesn't always shake out that way.

4. Games for Shiloh Park fields 1-4 Saturday. Game times are set for 10:50 am. If it is deemed to be too wet to start at 10:50 am, games will be scheduled to start at 2:00 pm. Games would be at 2:00, 3:40, 5:20, 7:00 & 8:40. We have communicated with Brandon Parks & Rec & they support this plan & feel confident (if the forecast holds true) that we would be good to go.

5. Lastly, Start times Saturday for Freedom Ridge, Quarry, & Flowood, could possibly move up or be pushed back...all weather pending Friday night.

Saturday afternoon & Sunday is going to be absolutely beautiful, so let's all work together to that point! We will communicate often and as quickly as possible & again the main goal is to get all games in as long as it is safe for the players.

This is the plan, we are sure it doesn't work for everyone, yet it is the best plan we feel to put in place. Thank you for choosing to play with us & we will do our best for you this weekend.

So until further notice, all games are still to be played as currently scheduled.

Don't forget to share this & text superslam3 to 84483 for text alerts.
